“Folded Stories” by @humaira_atelierh is an installation of 12 folded shirts carved out of pine wood for facebook’s new office. It aims to bring out and share stories which are folded and put away.

The installation is spanned over 70 feet. Carved pieces are installed on a wall painted with Stitch lines, knots and airplanes which represent sewing as well as migration.

It’s always refreshing to gel in with Humaira’s project as they’re thought provoking and creative. SUDS brainstormed with her over how to streamline the concept and give it an empowering title and visual for postcards for the stories. Follow #foldedstories to learn more.
